Before you book
What happens in the initial consultation?
It lasts approximately 90 minutes. I take a detailed case history to help identify the underlying causes of your symptoms and health concerns. Everything discussed is treated in strict confidence, and all personal information is stored securely in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Yes. Before your consultation I will ask you to complete a short form covering your medical history and family health background. I will also ask you to keep a three-day food diary, which should be returned to me 48 hours before our appointment.
Can we meet in person, or is it online?
Both. I am based in North London and offer appointments in person or over Zoom. Online consultations need a reasonable internet connection and a private space where you feel comfortable discussing personal information.
Is nutritional therapy a replacement for medical care?
No. Nutritional therapy is complementary to conventional healthcare and is not intended to replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or advise clients to discontinue or alter prescribed medication. Where symptoms require medical investigation, you may be advised to consult your GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Are supplements and tests included in the fee?
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the cost of supplements, laboratory tests and other third-party products or services is not included in the consultation or programme fee. Any decision to purchase a supplement or test remains yours.
When do I pay, and what if I need to cancel?
Payment in full is required three working days before our session. You will receive a full refund if your consultation is cancelled 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours will incur a £50 fee.
