Terms & Conditions

By booking a consultation or purchasing a service from Nutrition by Andriana, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Nutrition by Andriana

Nutrition by Andriana provides personalised nutritional therapy and wellbeing support.

2. Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy takes an individualised approach to nutrition and lifestyle. Recommendations may include dietary and lifestyle changes and, where appropriate, discussion of nutritional supplements or further testing.

Nutritional therapy is complementary to conventional healthcare and is not intended to replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or advise clients to discontinue or alter prescribed medication.

If you have symptoms that require medical investigation or treatment, you may be advised to consult your GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

You should always speak to your doctor, pharmacist or other relevant healthcare professional before making changes that could affect an existing medical condition or prescribed medication.

3. Consultations

Before your initial consultation, you may be asked to complete a health questionnaire and a food and lifestyle diary. Please provide information that is as complete and accurate as possible.

Your consultation and recommendations will be based on the information you provide.

It is your responsibility to inform me of relevant medical conditions and diagnoses; symptoms; allergies and intolerances; medications; supplements; pregnancy or breastfeeding; medical investigations and test results; and changes to your health or medication during the period we work together.

Consultations may take place in person or online, depending on the service booked and availability.

4. Recommendations

Following your consultation, you may receive personalised nutritional and lifestyle recommendations.

Recommendations are designed specifically for you based on the information available at the time. They should not be shared with or followed by another person as nutritional requirements vary between individuals.

Results cannot be guaranteed. Each individual responds differently to dietary and lifestyle changes, and the outcome of nutritional therapy can depend on many factors outside the practitioner’s control.

You remain responsible for deciding whether to follow any recommendation provided.

5. Supplements and Testing

Where appropriate, nutritional supplements or laboratory testing may be discussed.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the cost of supplements, laboratory tests and other third-party products or services is not included in the consultation or programme fee.

Any decision to purchase a supplement or test remains yours.

Where a supplement could interact with medication or a medical condition, you may be advised to discuss this with your GP, pharmacist or other appropriate healthcare professional before taking it.

6. Fees and Payment

Current consultation and programme fees are displayed on the Nutrition by Andriana website or will be confirmed before booking.

Payment in full is required 3 working days before our session.

Where a package includes several consultations, these must be used within the timeframe specified when the package is purchased unless otherwise agreed.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

You will receive a full refund if your consultation is cancelled 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment time will incur a £50 fee.

If I need to cancel your appointment, I will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative appointment as soon as possible.

8. Late Attendance

If you arrive late for an appointment, the consultation may still need to finish at the originally scheduled time so that other clients are not affected.

The full consultation fee may still apply.

9. Online Consultations

Online consultations require a suitable internet connection and a private environment where you feel comfortable discussing personal information.

Although reasonable steps are taken to use appropriate technology, Nutrition by Andriana cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party video or internet services.

If a significant technical problem prevents a consultation from taking place, an alternative appointment will be arranged where appropriate.

10. Communication Between Consultations

The level of support available between consultations depends on the package you have purchased.

Email or messaging support is intended for reasonable questions relating to your nutritional programme and is not an emergency or medical advice service.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency medical service rather than waiting for a response from Nutrition by Andriana.

11. Confidentiality and Personal Information

Information you provide during consultations will be treated confidentially and handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

There may be limited circumstances in which information must be disclosed, including where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious concern regarding safety.

All provided information is confidential and stored in line with GDPR guidelines. Client notes over the age of 18 are destroyed after 7 years, and notes held for children and teenagers will be destroyed when the client reaches 18 years of age.

Further information about how personal information is collected, stored and used can be found in the Nutrition by Andriana Privacy Policy.

12. Website Information

Information provided on this website, including articles, recipes, social media content, newsletters and other educational material, is provided for general information and educational purposes only.

It is not personalised medical or nutritional advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from your doctor or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

13. Recipes and Allergens

Recipes and food suggestions may contain or come into contact with common allergens.

It is your responsibility to check ingredients and product labels and to ensure that any food, recipe or product is appropriate for you and any allergies or intolerances you have.

If you have a diagnosed food allergy or other medical dietary requirement, seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Nutrition by Andriana website and materials provided as part of consultations or programmes, including written guides, handouts, plans, recipes and educational materials, is owned by or licensed to Nutrition by Andriana.

These materials are provided for your personal use and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold or used commercially without prior written permission.

15. Third-Party Websites and Products

The website or your personalised recommendations may contain references or links to third-party products, laboratories, websites or services.

Nutrition by Andriana is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or services of third-party providers.

Where any commercial relationship, commission or other financial interest exists in relation to a recommendation, this will be disclosed where required.

16. Liability

Nutrition by Andriana will provide services with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

17. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may occasionally be updated to reflect changes to the services offered, business practices or legal requirements.

The latest version will be made available on the Nutrition by Andriana website.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
